CompuNav Systems Ltd. of Vancouver, Canada, has made available a color brochure on its marine autopilot.
Since its introduction in 1982, the Comdev Marine 2000 Autopilot has gained a solid reputation in the commercial fishing industry for its unwaveringly reliable and trouble-free operations. The system features an automatic trim that allows the autopilot to correct for the turning effect of the propeller, uneven loading, etc., keeping the vessel exactly on course.
At the flick of a switch, the large LCD display gives either the programmed course or the vessel's actual heading. The liquid crystal display is clearly visible in bright sunlight and is illuminated for night viewing.
